July 8, 2025 - Cowain Group and XPeng HT have broken ground on a new power unit assembly line for XPeng's flying car mass-production base. As a leader in China's eVTOL sector, XPeng HT is advancing flying cars from concept to reality. Cowain's Automotive Division will supply the assembly line solutions, leveraging its expertise in new energy systems. The power units require stringent safety and quality standards. Cowain stated its flexible, modular design will enable rapid production adjustments and ensure aviation-level quality. The project is a core part of what is described as the world's first mass-production base for flying cars, aimed at propelling China's low-altitude economy into a new phase of large-scale manufacturing.
